After Achieving Success, Can You Maintain It?

Success and Failure Road Sign with dramatic clouds and sky.

4 ways to avoid the gradual slackening that follows triumph:

1. Bear with imperfect people. A master can find a good use for everything.

2. Be willing to take risks. Don’t get stuck in the status quo.

3. Be independent. One of the best nonprofit leadership tips I ever received was, “Don’t determine what you do by what others do.”

4. Do your duty. Too many “leaders” strive for personal advantage, rather than doing the right thing. – Shar McBee

P.S.  Thank you for all the birthday wishes!
