Albert Einstein said, “The intuitive is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
Beyonce Knowles gave us a gift. Never have I heard the national anthem performed so beautifully. Whether she pre-recorded it or not, it was an incredible gift.
Haven’t you noticed that no matter what good you do, (even when you put on the very best fundraising events) there are people who criticize your work? When it happens to you, what do you do? It hurts, I know, but I suggest that you do what Beyonce did. Just ignore them. – Shar McBee
I really this tip Shar. One cannot take every criticism hard all the time. The best reaction is ignore and you become, that will me you become wise
It takes energy to hold back, but it’s worth it.
Those that can, do what they can and those that can’t, criticize.
In Austin, I was in charge of finding a speaker every month for an organization. Two people on the Board criticized every speaker that I booked. Then, these two were supposed to organize one event. They couldn’t find a speaker, so they quit the Board right before their event.
You are so right, Stephanie! Thanks for your insight.
