It was not a surprise to hear this week that she has done something kind with the proceeds of her mega-hit, “I will always love you” which Whitney Houston recorded. (Covered, as they say in the music biz.)
One thing Dolly told me that I’ve never forgotten: She had struggled with yo-yo dieting and it was easier to become a superstar than it was to get her weight under control.
