You may have the “title” of leader, but feel like an outsider. Others have formed a group and you remain isolated. What do you do?
1. Ally yourself with someone who is closer to the center of the group. It will eventually help you gain admission to the closed circle.
2. Some people will attach themselves to you merely because of your position (though they don’t really have confidence in you.) The best way to deal with these people is to be conscientious and devoted to your duty.
3. Even though it feels somewhat humiliating, by all means avoid arrogance. Modesty (without subservience) will make you stand out as exceptional. – Shar McBee
